Website Use
You may use this website for lawful personal or business purposes.
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent information, or use website content in a way that violates applicable law or the intellectual property rights of Karl Draw Studio or another party.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products.
Because Karl Draw Forms products are individually cut and prepared, minor variations may occur in:
Surface texture
Edge finish
Width
Dimensions
Color appearance
Cut characteristics
Measurements identified as “approximately” are estimates and should not be interpreted as precision manufacturing tolerances unless specifically agreed to in writing.
Unfinished Foam Products
Karl Draw Forms products are generally sold unfinished unless otherwise stated.
Customers are responsible for the final painting, decorating, mounting, supporting, sealing, or finishing of unfinished products.
Images showing finished, painted, decorated, installed, or staged items may be provided for inspiration and may include items, finishes, accessories, or display materials that are not included with the purchased product.
Foam-Safe Materials
Rigid foam can be damaged by certain solvents and chemicals.
Customers should use products that are suitable for foam and follow the manufacturer's directions for any paint, adhesive, coating, or finishing product they apply.
Water-based acrylic and craft paints are generally preferred for unfinished craft applications.
Solvent-based spray paints, adhesives, coatings, and similar products may damage exposed foam.
When using an unfamiliar product, test it first on a small area or properly seal the foam before application.
Karl Draw Studio is not responsible for damage resulting from paints, adhesives, chemicals, coatings, heat, improper installation, or other products applied by the customer after delivery.
Standing and Display
Some letters and forms may stand independently on a level surface.
Others may require support.
Depending on their shape, characters may need to be:
Laid flat
Leaned against another surface
Mounted
Supported
Attached to a display or structure
Freestanding ability is not guaranteed for every character or form.
Customers are responsible for safely displaying, mounting, supporting, and securing products according to their intended use and environment.
Personalized Word and Name Orders
Word and Name Sets are prepared according to the exact information submitted by the customer.
Before completing an order, the customer is responsible for reviewing:
Spelling
Selected number of letters
Entered word or name
Capitalization where relevant
Other customization information
The selected letter count must match the number of physical letters requested.
Spaces between words do not count as physical letters unless otherwise indicated.
For example:
JORDAN = 6 letters
The customer should select the 6-letter option.
Orders containing conflicting information may be placed on hold while we attempt to contact the customer.
Production time may be affected if clarification is required.
Customer-Supplied Information
Karl Draw Studio is entitled to rely on the measurements, names, spelling, dates, dimensions, images, instructions, addresses, and other information submitted by the customer.
Customers are responsible for reviewing this information for accuracy before approving an order, design, or project.
Pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice.
A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid unless the customer later requests a modification to the order.
Applicable taxes, shipping, delivery, travel, installation, or other charges may be added where required.
Payment
Payment is due according to the terms shown during checkout, on an invoice, in a proposal, or in a written service agreement.
Orders and project schedules are not considered confirmed until required payments or deposits have been received.
Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not necessarily require Karl Draw Studio to accept an order that:
Contains conflicting information
Cannot reasonably be completed within the requested timeframe
Requests an unavailable product or material
Contains an obvious pricing or website error
Violates these Terms
Cannot safely or reasonably be produced
If we cannot accept a paid order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate refund for the unfulfilled portion.
Production Times
Published processing times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Standard unfinished Karl Draw Forms products are generally prepared according to the processing timeframe shown on the applicable product page.
Large orders, custom work, design changes, material availability, weather, shipping delays, or clarification requests may affect completion times.
Need-By Dates
A customer may provide an event date or preferred need-by date.
Providing a date does not guarantee completion, delivery, or arrival by that date unless Karl Draw Studio specifically confirms the deadline in writing.
Customers should allow adequate time for production and transportation.
Shipping
Shipping times provided by carriers are estimates unless the carrier specifically provides a guaranteed service.
Karl Draw Studio is responsible for meeting the shipping commitments it makes to customers. Under the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, an online seller must have a reasonable basis for its advertised shipping timeframe; if it cannot ship within the promised period, it generally must obtain the customer's consent to the delay or refund the unshipped order.
Additional shipping terms are provided in our Shipping & Pickup Policy.
Local Pickup
When local pickup is offered, customers should wait until they receive confirmation that their order is ready before attempting pickup.
Pickup instructions, location, and available times will be provided separately.
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Personalized, customized, made-to-order, and design-based products may have different return restrictions from standard ready-to-order products.
Custom Projects
Custom fabrication, creative direction, design planning, installations, and specialty forms may require:
Consultation
Design fees
Deposits
Written proposals
Scope approval
Material approval
Separate project agreements
Custom fabrication is quoted according to design, scale, materials, finishing, transportation, and installation requirements.
Concept Clarity Sessions and Design Services
Consultation and design fees compensate Karl Draw Studio for creative thinking, planning, problem-solving, and professional services.
A complimentary conversation or fit call does not include extensive brainstorming, drawings, design solutions, material strategy, dimensions, or fabrication plans.
Those services are provided through paid engagements.
Design Revisions
The number of revisions included with a paid design engagement will be stated in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Additional revisions, changes in scope, or redesign requests may require additional fees.
Customer Changes
Changes requested after production or design work begins may:
Increase the price
Extend the timeline
Require additional materials
Require a revised proposal
Be impossible to accommodate
Karl Draw Studio will advise the customer when a requested change affects the approved scope.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Karl Draw Studio retains ownership of its original:
Drawings

Designs
Sketches
Photographs
Website content
Graphics

Creative documentation
Purchasing a physical product does not automatically transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the underlying design.
Custom project intellectual property rights may be addressed separately in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Customer-Provided Materials
By providing a logo, photograph, artwork, trademark, design, or other material for use in a project, the customer represents that they have the necessary permission or rights to authorize its use.
Photography and Portfolio Use
Karl Draw Studio may photograph completed work for business records and portfolio purposes where appropriate.
For private, confidential, branded, or unreleased projects, portfolio-use restrictions should be communicated before the project begins and may be addressed in the project agreement.
Safety
Karl Draw products are decorative and creative forms unless specifically designed and approved for another purpose.
They are not toys, climbing structures, seating, load-bearing building components, flotation devices, or safety equipment unless specifically engineered and documented for that use.
Keep foam products away from open flames, excessive heat, and other conditions that may damage the material.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Karl Draw Studio will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from misuse, modification, improper mounting, inappropriate finishing products, unsafe installation, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
